I am very happy to announce the first public CTP of Microsoft Expression Web Designer!

Yup I've been talking about this for a while, and we were expecting to see it appear as part of the MIX06 conference but here it is now so go and take a look (225MB to download).

Also on Wednesday last week, Developer Division released the May 2006 CTP for the .NET Language Integrated Query (LINQ) Project. Check out a conversation with Anders Hejlsberg about the May 06 preview of LINQ and Scott Guthrie's post on using LINQ with ASP.NET.

Update: Looks like the install file for EWD is currently corrupted... I tried unzipping the EXE and I get "Extracting EWDWW.cab" CAB file WebDesigner_setup.exe is corrupt... I just emailed Wayne Smith, who incidentally is coming down for Tech.Ed to report the problem.
