Paul Allen’s Seattle Seahawks will play in Super Bowl XL

When I was up in Seattle this month Nathan, Nikolaj and I caught an NBA game Seattle Sonics vs Orlando Magic. The game was great and there was even a fight mid court that lead to two players landing on top of spectators in the front row. Although the basketball was good the big news was the NFL with the Seattle Seahawks taking on and beating the Washington Redskins in their first playoff since 1984 the Saturday that I was flying out of Seattle. The city got behind the Seahawks much like NZ gets behind the all blacks... they even put a 12th man flag on top of the Seattle Space Needle!

Last Sunday the Seahawks won again and now they are going to the superbowl.

Paul Allen Microsoft co-founder purchased the Seattle Seahawks in June 1997, so their rise and rise this season has certainly go a few people at campus excited!
