Launch VS SQL & BTS

* Firstly I wanted to clarify a question I got from a few sources regarding this weeks MSDN Flash*

I wrote -

"We are coming down to the finish line for the launch of Visual Studio 2005, SQL Server 2005, and BizTalk Server 2006 on November 7th, and momentum and excitement are really building. The product teams are going through the final checklists to prepare these products for release to manufacturing."

I should have written "The Visual Studio & SQL Server product teams are going through the final checklists."

Scott Woodgate clarifies all confusion about the BizTalk 2006 Release Date (Yup his team is targeting the first half/ first quarter of 2006 to ship BTS 2006)

Also Team Foundation Server will be in Beta at launch... read Soma's post on this (TFS will ship 1st 1/4 2006)

We have launched the technical registration page for Launch!

What do you get for your $99 registration fee? Hmm what don't you get!

Hmm... software valued at more than 6.5 k for $100!

Only catch the terms and conditions for these products precludes you from selling them on TradeMe sorry Tim.

We are not selling you the software we are licensing it to YOU to use.

Speaking of the free Microsoft Certified Technology Exam... late this month we will be launching our new Microsoft Competency for partners so this might help get you started.

Remember my post with titles and abstracts for the dev sessions.
