Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 Edge Transport and Messaging Protection
Microsoft IT Showcase is pleased to announce the publication of Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 Edge Transport and Messaging Protection, an update to a paper originally published in February 2007. This updated version discusses how Microsoft IT used the features available in Exchange Server 2007 with SP1 to optimize the existing messaging environment at all levels, including messaging protection against harmful messages and threats.
In deploying the Exchange 2007-based messaging-protection solution, Microsoft IT used all messaging protection features of the Edge Transport server role and Forefront Security for Exchange Server to block, delete, reject, or quarantine unwanted messages.
