ODF Support for Office 2007 SP2 – How it will be done

We have just has published documentation on how we are going to implement support for Open Document Format (ODF) version 1.1 in Microsoft Office 2007 Service Pack 2 when it becomes available next year.

We announced our plans to support ODF earlier this year and this documentation represents how we are going to do it, in a pretty transparent way. The aim is that this will help to foster interoperability among office productivity applications where will will also continue to be an active participant in the evolution of ODF.
