Finding the right people

With problems along the way, it has taken a whole week!! to get the job description for the new "Longhorn" Server evangelist on the microsoft.com careers site.

I think that this is going to be one of the coolest jobs ever. Basically working with all the different Longhorn Windows Server product groups and finding all the cool and exciting technologies that are going to be available for developers. Then driving an early adopter program for our key partners and making sure through communities such as channel9 that the world knows about it (warts and all [:)])

The job description is at the following location https://members.microsoft.com/careers/search/details.aspx?JobID=38221e32-5dc9-455c-b53d-4ad72c8dd9fe if anybody is interested please send an email to neilhut@microsoft.com

The Friday Identity Trip

Finally on this Friday, does anybody think that Identity is getting exciting? I HOPE SO. Please go to the following session by D. Hardt at OSCON where he talks about how the online world will drive developers to build the next generation of distributed applications that live through the web. The concept of digital identity is evolving and Windows Server Longhorn is going to be there to support this direction. His delivery and style is very cool [:)]
