Docs for Dynamics NAV 2016 and earlier are now on Docs.microsoft.com

For almost 10 years, you might have become used to finding content online for Dynamics NAV in the MSDN Library. We announced last year that we’re moving to the Docs.microsoft.com site, and today we moved the last bits to the Docs site as well.

Online content for Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2016 and earlier versions of Dynamics NAV is now available in the Previous Versions section of the Docs site.

Here are the direct links for each version:

If you have bookmarked an article in the MSDN Library, you will be directed to the same article on the Docs site. You’ll be able to use the Search field to search for specific articles, be that how to maintain fixed assets in Dynamics NAV 2015 or how to use the Compressed property in Dynamics NAV 2016.

But we highly recommend that you read the latest version instead: How to maintain fixed assets in Dynamics NAV or in Business Central. Also, read the latest article on how to use the Compressed property in Dynamics NAV – or in AL. Those docs are still being updated by the team on a regular basis, and you can use the breadcrumbs just below the blue banner to navigate between the different sections.

Stay tuned for an update on how you can adopt, customize, extend, and collaborate with Microsoft on the latest versions here on the blog.

Best regards,

The Dynamics NAV content experience team
