  1. Nicolai Hansen says:

This one: “209464 You cannot run a database upgrade on SQL Azure” – is fixed in the new CU 06 for NAV 2017, but not in 2016. Will it be in the next update for NAV 2016? Or maybe it has already been fixed and I have missed it? 🙂

  2. It has always been possible to upgrade a database hosted on SQL Azure in NAV 2017 using the development environment, what we have provided in 209464 is a fix with the way we were detecting if the upgrade could happen.

From CU 19 for NAV 2016 (via 209353), it is now also possible to update the database in the NAV 2016 development environment, when the database is hosted in SQL Azure.
