  5. In contrast to what is stated in the KB article, there is no database conversion required compared to the version of last month. Looks like that passage was copied from the KB article of last month ;-).

      I wrote to microsoft they answered:
      “Thanks for contacting MBSIT.
      We are actively working on your issue.
      We will update you in few hours.”

    seems the way data is received in DateTime fields has been changed?
    Earlier you could enter 12 06 and it would translate into 12-06-16 06:00 now it translates into 12-06-16 00:00.
    You now need two spaces between 12 and 06.
    Causes a bit of confusion when we are using DateTime on Sales Orders all the time and I cannot read about this change anywhere?

      Seems I was am wrong – 2 spaces are not enough! This is very “sad” for our order receivers!

    After upgrading to build 46045 the following error occurs when I design an object and click on the ‘View’ button:
    There are errors in the text conversion because text no. 89-1268 does not exist in the .stx file.

    Internal error: 47-1

    Any ideas?

      Replace the etx and stx files in the ENU (C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Dynamics NAV\90\RoleTailored Client\ENU) folder from the full installation (\RoleTailoredClient\program files\Microsoft Dynamics NAV\90\RoleTailored Client\ENU).

    after I updated my W1 version to I got following error message:
    not expected SQL error.
    Field Session Unique ID in table does not allow NULL-values.
    Error at insert.

    strange for me.
    Can open Database,can’t compile objects.

    any ideas?
    tried to contact Microsoft support but page is also disable 🙂

    After updating to CU8 we are not able to run objects from the dev client unless you are running the client as administrator. Does this get fixed in CU9 ? and also the part where you have to convert the database as administrator ?

      The bug regarding “not beeing able to run objects from the dev client unless you are running the client as administrator” is fixed in CU9.

  13. This may not be the right place to post this, but I haven’t found any information regarding NAV 2016 compatability with SQL Server 2016. Will there be a CU released for this, or have tests been performed validating compatability in it’s current state?
