3 Tips to Make the Most of an Internship | Blogmas#3

#1 Learn
After numerous applications and interviews, you've landed an internship and you are ready to make a difference! While every intern should feel comfortable voicing their ideas, you should also be excited and ready to learn. It is definitely possible to be valuable to your team whilst still learning along the way. Internships can be tough to come by, definitely try to take as much as you can away from the experience - whether it is learning about the company's organization structure, or the tools they use.

#2 Make friends
Get to know your fellow interns, as well as the full time employees on your team. If you can, also try to branch out and talk to people on other teams. (the cafeteria, or even the elevator can be a good place for this) By doing this, you will not only have a more memorable internship experience but you can also learn about the different roles the company has and about other peoples' work experiences.

#3 Know what you can share
Before your internship is over, you may want to talk to your manager to find out what projects you can talk about or share once you leave. Having a piece of work to show for your experience can be really helpful for future job applications, but be sure to clarify that it doesn't violate any of the company's confidentiality policies.
