Around The World With MVPs: Ra’anana

Being an MVP isn’t just about being recognized for the work you do - although, that’s certainly an important part of it. It also means participating in an active community of tech professionals from your immediate region, and around the world. What a perk!

The MVP community is certainly alive and well in Ra’anana, Israel. More than two dozen MVPs, DX team members and BGs met in the city last week for an MVP dinner, giving guests a chance to connect with their fellow team members and talk technology.

Ra’anana is a smaller city - it only has a population of about 70,000 - but it’s also a serious tech hub. The city is home a range of major tech companies, including GPS navigation application Waze, which Google acquired for $1.1 billion in 2013. Microsoft’s head office in Israel is also located in Ra’anana.
