Back for its third and biggest year yet, Techorama recently wrapped up in Mechelen, Belgium, where it again offered up inspiring keynotes, deep-dive developer sessions, integration scenarios, and best practices delivered by international speakers and local community rock stars.

The conference consistently sells out and this year it attracted more than 1,000 participants from more than 20 countries.

Gill explained the event’s popularity, “You won’t find marketing talks at Techorama because the track owners themselves are technical people, who are working with the technology every day.”

Topics ranged from Modeling in a Non-Relational World and Elastic Search in Action to Continuous Delivery 3.0 on the Microsoft Stack and Intervention: Challenging Teams to Rethink Software Design.

“We try to make the conference an experience for all those attending,” continued Gill. “This year, a comedy club presented acts throughout the day and a Belgian waffle food truck baked the best waffles in the world.”

You can get behind-the-scenes interviews from the event on Channel 9 and hear interviews from the event with Regional Director and Windows Development MVP Carl Franklin and Regional Director and Visual Studio and Development Technologies MVP Richard Campbell on their show, DotNetRocks.

Mark your calendars now for Techorama 2017, coming next May 23 and 24 in Belgium.
