Europe's largest and most impactful SharePoint & Office 365 conference, European SharePoint Conference 2015 (ESPC 15), took place from November 9th to November 12th in Stockholm, Sweden. ESPC provides the opportunity for 1500 SharePoint professionals from more than 50 countries to access in-depth technical and business content as well as to meet, network and socialize.
Over 100 sessions, covering seven technical tracks, and exceptional keynotes were delivered by members of Microsoft's team and industry experts--including 44 MVPs from all over Europe, Canada, USA, and Singapore. The event kicked off with a headline speech by Microsoft's corporate vice president of OneDrive and SharePoint, Jeff Teper, into the future roadmaps of these important technologies. In addition, senior director of product management for Microsoft SharePoint and OneDrive, Seth Patton, senior product marketing manager for SharePoint and Office 365 Bill Baer, IT unity co-founder Dan Holme, Office Servers and Services MVP Geoff Evelyn and vice president of Workflow Technology at Nintex Mike Fitzmaurice were the event’s keynote speakers.
Sessions included 40+ ground breaking sessions for developers, 30+ sessions for ITPros and 30+ sessions for decision makers/end users. The numerous networking sessions, announcements and sideline sessions included a Women in Technology Lunch, Microsoft Design Team focus groups, and an invitation-only CIO Summit. Just as in previous years, ESPC organized a Gala Awards night which has been called simply as '’legendary.’' This year's event took place in the stunning Stockholm City Hall, home of the Nobel Peace Prize. It included the ESPC SharePoint Community Awards, Pioneering Award for Startup Excellence and the announcement of Europe's Top Office 365 influencers.
