Interop on the Road in Brazil

MVPs from Brazil recently climbed aboard the Interop on the Road bus and set off on an unprecedented and innovative technology roadshow. Supported by partners such as Dell, Microsoft, Daruma and Tecmundo, Interop on the Road is the brainchild of Windows and Devices for IT MVPs Andre Ruschel and Jorge Vera, Windows Development MVP Claudenir Andrade, Enterprise Mobility MVP Rafael Silva and the expert Roberto Fonseca. Altogether, the roadshow spanned four states of Brazil and reached 500 participants.

Besides the organizers, the event also featured a strong team of speakers, including MVP Lead Fernanda Saraiva, Visual Studio and Development Technologies MVP Andre Carlucci, Technical Evangelists Osvaldo Daibert and Marlon Light, Open Source Lead Alessandro Jannuzzi and Audience Evangelism Manager Rodrigo Dias.

The journey began on November 16 in Porto Alegre-RS at the University PUC where participants were divided into two rooms, one focused on content for developers and another one for IT infrastructure.

The second stage was hosted in UNISUL Palhoça-SC on November 18, and the following day, the event was held in Curitiba-PR, and took place at the University.

On the final leg of the journey, the team was welcomed by the director of the University PUC in São Paulo. There they planted a tree to offset some of the carbon dioxide that the bus engine emitted.

The MVP organizers are already planning Interop on the Road 2016, so stay tuned!
