Just Days Away From the November 2013 MVP Global Summit

By Mike Hickman, Director of Global Community Engagement at Microsoft

We’re poised to welcome well over a thousand technical community leaders to Microsoft corporate headquarters in Redmond for the MVP Global Summit, one of the largest and most important community events in the world. This is a special Summit—the second one this year—which we expect will foster great conversations between MVPs and Microsoft product teams during this important product release cycle.

At the February 2013 MVP Global Summit, we piloted the MVP Showcase, where MVPs from around the world presented their knowledge of the Microsoft platform and the solutions and capabilities they produce to Microsoft teams and the MVP community. It was enormously successful, so it’s back at this month’s Summit—only 30 percent bigger.

Although many MVPs were here just nine months ago, we’re expecting a great turnout for the November 2103 MVP Global Summit—around 1,400 MVPs are scheduled to attend.

To welcome them personally, and provide some more information about the event, Annabelle Autin-Perrault, senior director of Community and Online Support at Microsoft, has created this video.
