How did you get involved with Microsoft MVP?
“I became a Microsoft MVP seven years ago. I founded and was president of Carolina IT Pro Group for 10 years. The group is a collection of like-minded IT professionals who come together to share, network and learn about the latest advancements and technologies in the IT industry. The group became one of the largest in the U.S., and I think that was one of the reasons that I was first identified as an MVP candidate. Five years ago, Microsoft asked me to help them to build a “bridge” to the IT-pro community worldwide, and I founded Culminis, which is now in over 90 countries and represents more than 4 million IT professionals”.
How have you helped influence Microsoft products?
“Microsoft relies upon us to provide them with feedback from our participation in beta programs as well as real-world experience in using its products”.
