Microsoft MVP Delivers Helping Hand To UK Charity

Microsoft Small Business Server (SBS) MVP Tim Long and founder of TiGra Networks has been working with Chequers Youth Facility,a charitable youth organisation based in the UK to deliver a new IT suite for the young people of the town. The project included a network server running Microsoft SBS 2008, new PCs and a web content management system.

The new infrastructure has enabled young people at the charity to create and publish their own web content in a supervised environment. Computers were custom built by TiGra Networks and installed with Windows Vista and Office 2007. Tim’s technical expertise saved the charity over £2,000 compared to the regular retail prices of new equipment. Read more about this charitable effort here.
