NEW VIDEO - Acorn Software Prototypes RIA with SketchFlow

Jared Bienz just launched a great video on creating RIA prototypes with SketchFlow. If you are interested in SketchFlow and how to build real RIA apps using SketchFlow, this is worth a look.

Description

Steve Allen from Acorn Systems talks about their recent experience using SketchFlow to prototype a new RIA offering for their customers. Acorns new recursive costing tool was built using Silverlight 3 and RIA Services, but before the first line of code was written a ‘living’ functional spec was created. SketchFlow helped the Acorn dev team catch and address misunderstandings in the product requirements early on. It helped them convey ideas, and it ensured that both Acorn and their customers understood the full scope of the project before development began. The process even helped Acorn and their customers settle on a common set of naming conventions and terms before the product shipped.
