Happy Thanksgiving Wishes and Thank You To You All

Throughout the years, I have shared my thanks and gratitude to all of the amazing people I have the honor and privilege to meet, work with, and interact with around the globe here at Microsoft and with our customers and partners everywhere year in and year out. This year is no different and I continue to be thankful each and every day to you all for all you do and the impact you make day in and day out.

As one of my favorite quotes states,

“People will forget what you said,
people will forget what you did,
but people will never forget how you made them feel.”

My hope is that in some small way I am able to give back to this community and have a positive impact for you. Throughout the year, I thoroughly enjoy receiving messages from people around the world who are either sharing their success stories on things they have accomplished or even the quick, “thank you’s” for how something I have shared has helped them out in some way. Two examples I receive many about are:

• How to recover that un-saved Microsoft Office Excel, Word, or PowerPoint file you closed before saving
• I’m giving away MILLIONS of FREE Microsoft eBooks again!

From college students sharing how they were able to save their unsaved project they worked into the wee hours of the night on and thought they had lost, to business people who thought their business presentations were gone but they were able to salvage, to the people and schools sharing how the free eBooks have helped them advance their learnings and that of their students to accomplish more, to businesses and partners leveraging these resources to do more for their businesses and those of their clients.

I hope that in some way I have been able to give back to this great community that has been such a pleasure to work with and be a part of throughout the years and again I offer my sincere wishes to you all for a Happy Thanksgiving to you and your friends, family, and loved ones everywhere.
