How to get 50%* off your Microsoft Office Professional Plus payment this year

How many of you remember the former offer we ran that provided you with up to 50% off your first year payment of Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2010 if you had a qualifying version of Microsoft Office already that ended at the end of 2010? What if I told you that right now you could get the 50%* savings on Microsoft Office Professional Plus even without any qualifying version of Microsoft Office at all?! Well, here you go.

We are currently running a promotion through May 31, 2011 that lets you save you up to 50%* off your first year payment on Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2010 for new purchases through the Open Value Subscription program, without having to have any prior version of Microsoft Office at all. That’s right, anyone can take advantage of this offer, even if they don’t own any Microsoft Office licenses at all! Here’s how it works:

Customers who sign a new Open Value Subscription or Open Value Subscription for Government agreement and are acquiring Office Professional Plus 2010 up-to-date (UTD) subscription license and Software Assurance packs get up-to-date savings of up to 50 percent on the first annual payment on Office Professional Plus 2010 UTD subscription licenses. What this means quite simply is, everyone can qualify for the up-to-date discount of up to 50% off the first year payment for Office Professional Plus 2010, regardless if you own an existing version of Microsoft Office or not when you take advantage of this promotion.

As I mentioned above, this promotion only runs through May 31, 2011, so be sure to head out to the promotion page to learn more and then talk with your clients about how they can take advantage of this offer for their companies.

Not familiar with how the 50%* discount works or why I keep saying “up to 50%” with the “*” at the end? Take a quick look at my “How the Microsoft 50%* Up-to-date discount works and other answers” post for an overview of how the 50% works and how you as a partner can sell it too. Just remember that with the current promotion, you are not required to have a previous version of Microsoft Office to qualify, unlike in the prior promotion where you did.
