Here is some great news to start off the New Year for all of you partners out there. The Microsoft Partner Network Competency Exam Packs + free retakes offer is back by popular demand! That’s right, we are bringing back the opportunity for you to save up to 30% off the price of your certification exams as well as a free retake on each, in the event you need it. As a reminder, here is a brief overview of how the promotional savings works:
Purchase your exam packs in quantities of 3, 5, or 8, exams:
- Save 20% when you buy a 3-Pack, plus a get free retake on each exam (if needed)
- Save 25% when you buy a 5-Pack – Save 25% plus get a free retake on each exam (if needed)
- Save 30% when you buy a 8-Pack – Save 30% plus get a free retake on each exam (if needed)

From a timing perspective:

Some other terms & conditions you may be wondering about:
- Exams passes can be distributed within an organization to multiple individuals, or can all be taken by one individual.
- Exam retakes are limited to the same exam associated with the initial voucher and must be taken by the same person.
- All exams must be taken by employees or consultants associated with the organization and cannot be re-sold.
- All exams must be purchased through Prometric, Microsoft's official Certification testing vendor.
- Applicable exams: This offer applies to all commercial Microsoft IT professional, developer, project management, and Microsoft Dynamics exams. This offer does not include Academic exams.
- This is a worldwide offer that is available at Prometric Testing
One question I thought might come up that I figured I would address up-front is, for partners that purchased their Exam Packs prior to Dec. 31, 2010 (through the original offer, not the newly launched one starting January 1, 2011), their exams will need to be taken prior to June 30, 2010, as per the terms of that offer when the purchase was made.
