Twas the night before Christmas,
when all across the net,
people scurry to find presents,
and other things they did forget.
The stockings were hung
by the chimney with care.
Parents everywhere panic,
to find a Kinect to put in there.
On Twitter and Facebook and eBay they look,
Some even turn to that old yellow book.
“I know I can find one, I’m sure that I can.”
And off they set, with their procurement plan.
“Do you have one, do you have one?”
“Please tell me you do!”
“One of the fantastic Kinect devices,”
And success at last, “Why yes, lucky you!”
Ok, enough of the jesting,
the kidding, and the joking.
And now for the real reason,
the purpose for this posting.
What a great year it’s been,
and how fortunate I feel.
To get to work with such great people,
that make technology for others so real.
From the partners that help others
across every corner of the planet,
to the folks here at Microsoft,
whose interaction I don’t take for granted.
To each of you out there
That I get to connect with through the year,
A huge, “Thank you,” to you,
For the interaction I hold so dear.
A sincere wish for each of you,
As you celebrate these days.
To you and your loved ones,
A very happy and joyous holidays.
Happy holidays from me and my family to you and yours!
Thank you and have a wonderful day,
