Connecting with others – A HUGE value of #WPC10 (Look who I found)

Every year at the Worldwide Partner Conference, making connections, whether new ones with people you’ve never met before, or existing with people you already know and may not get to see very often, is one of the HUGE values! This year at #wpc10, is no exception. Last night the conference kicked off with the welcome reception where thousands of partners came together with thousands of Microsoft employees to gather for some great food, great conversations, and fantastic connections, including having representatives from 50 embassies join us for this function.

As always, I was there last night and had the honor to get to meet and talk with a ton of partners from all over the world. A great intro I had from one person here today was, “Are you the @EricLigman from Twitter?” I gladly smiled and said, “Why yes, I am. Nice to meet you.” :-) I thought I would share just a few pictures of some of the partners I had the privilege to get to spend some time with and connect with last night at the Welcome Reception. You can click on any of the pictures below for full size:

What connections have you made so far here at #WPC10? Be sure to be utilizing all of the opportunities you have here at the conference to connect with other partners, with Microsoft people, and everyone here at the conference. Through the Digital WPC site, we have many tools like the WPC Connect Wall, meeting scheduler and more for you to locate and set meetings with any of the attendees at the conference. Also, if you are interested in meeting face to face, I have posted many of the places I will be while here on my Blog.

I hope you are having a great #WPC10 so far and and even better one to come the remainder of the week!
