Who Influences You?

image Here’s a question that you may or may not have already considered. Who influences you? When you think about the SMB space and your work within it, who do you turn to, listen to, or rely on for information when you have questions or want to know more about what is happening? This is a question currently being asked by Harry Brelsford of SMB PC (many of you may also know Harry from SMB Nation), as well as Jim Locke of SMBTN. They are currently conducting an online survey asking, “Who are the Top 150 influencer's in the SMB space?”

If you happen to follow me on Twitter, you would have seen my tweets last week stating that I had been nominated as one of the people in the survey and asking for your votes for me. If you don’t follow me yet on Twitter, I thought I would post this opportunity up here on the Blog as well to let you know about this opportunity to let Harry and Jim know who your top influencers in the SMB space are. You can submit votes for up to 10 people in the survey and it is a really short, two question survey:

  1. How did you hear about the SMB Top 150 survey?
    • Feel free to insert my name or my Blog if this is how you heard about it
  2. Please enter up to ten (10) top SMB technology influencers.
    • This is a text box where you enter in who your influencers are and where I would be grateful if you would be willing to submit my name as one of your influencers, if in fact you do consider me to be one.

Thanks in advance to any of you that do go and submit my name in the SMB Top 150 survey as well as to those of you that have already submitted your votes. As stated on the survey site, “Results will be posted in a future issue of SMB PC magazine,” so hopefully you will see several of your top influencers listed there when it is published. I also have no doubt that many of those influencers will be at WPC10 in just a couple of weeks! Can’t wait to see you there.
