Thank you, Paige, for everything you’ve done for SBSC! The Microsoft Partner Group will miss you…

As the saying goes, “all good things must come to an end,” and just moments ago, Paige Boesen made the public announcement to the SBSC Advisory Group that she is moving on from the position at Microsoft that so many of us have come to know her to be in. That position being on the Microsoft US Partner Group, working tirelessly day in and day out to build, grow, and foster the Microsoft Small Business Specialist Community (SBSC) Program from its early days to the strong and prospering Community it is today.

Having worked very closely with Paige in her role to build the SBSC Community from the day she took the position, I can only say, “THANK YOU, PAIGE, FOR EVERYTHING YOU HAVE DONE!” For those of you who know Paige, you know that she is a “Never say ‘can’t’” type of person and gave 120% at all times to the SBSC Program and anyone associated with it. She accomplished amazing things in her role and her presence there will truly be missed. For any of you who know Paige or are part of the SBSC Community, please join me in sending her a quick note of thanks for all she has done as she moves on to the next stage of her career.

Now I know what you might be thinking and by sheer coincidence, one of the local news crews happened to be on the Microsoft campus a few weeks back when the internal announcement of Paige’s departure from the Microsoft Partner Group came out and they happened to catch the initial reaction on their video footage that day. But then, everyone read the rest of the message about where Paige was going to and what she would be doing next and the cameras were rolling and captured the reaction on campus as we counted down the moments until Paige started her new role.

Why this reaction? Well, as another couple of sayings go, “Their loss is our gain,” and “When one door closes, many more doors open,” and these are very appropriate now. Why? Because that next stage of Paige’s career is a move over to join us on the US Small Business Team (yes, the team I am on) here at Microsoft as the Senior Alliance Marketing Manager. What’s so exciting about this is that not only is Paige not going far and not only do we get to add her great talents to our team, but in this new role she will still be doing a lot for and with the SBSC Community! That’s right, Paige is still here, focused on Small Business right along with all of us on the US Small Business Team. So now that you’ve sent her your, “Thank you,” message, drop her a “Welcome aboard and congratulations,” message on her new and exciting role here on our team. We are VERY excited to have her join us!

So from all of us, a HUGE “Thank You, Paige,” for all you have done and a “Welcome aboard and looking forward to continuing to work with you” in your new role here in US Small Business!

Thank you and have a wonderful day,
