Can non-profit (charity) companies take advantage of the Open Value Subscription Program?

This is a question I received multiple times over the past few weeks when presenting Open Value Subscription. The answer to this question is two-fold:

1) Open Value Subscription is open to anyone to take advantage of, so from a basic requirements perspective, non-profit (charity) companies absolutely could take advantage of the Open Value Subscription program if they chose to.

2) Because Microsoft offers the Open Charity licensing program, if the company is a qualifying 501c(3) charity organization or per se organization, they should probably look to take advantage of the Open Charity program and pricing instead of the Open Value Subscription program due to the price savings they can receive through it.

So to sum up the answer to this question, if the non-profit, charity company qualifies for the Microsoft Open Charity Program, they should look to take advantage of Open Charity for their software needs. If they do not qualify for the Open Charity Program, then they should absolutely look to take advantage of the Open Value Subscription Program with the Up-to-date discount for their company.

Thank you and have a wonderful day,
