The cost of inactivity and doubt – Part 2

For those of you that have been following the Blog for awhile, you may recall my post back in September on, “The cost of inactivity and doubt.” This post followed my "Let’s have some fun, and see who’s paying attention…" where I made an offer to give the first 50 people who responded to my post a prize, just for fun. Ultimately the prize was a couple of T-shirts and Starbucks cards.

The point of the “The cost of inactivity and doubt.” was that many Partners who read the Blog about the contest simply chose not to submit because they were sure they were too late to win. Because of this, several Partners who decided to try it anyway ended up being winners many, many hours into the promotion, just because others didn’t take the time to enter.

So what does that have to do with this post today? Well, just the other day I decided to run another giveaway here on the Blog for my readers and did so in my “Microsoft Small Business Solutions Brochure – Exclusive offer for my Blog readers” post where I offered to send out 50 of the Microsoft Small Business Solutions Brochures to the first 50 Partners who submitted a request to receive them. What I found interesting was even today, two days after the post, several people sent in submissions anyway with comments like, “Probably too late, I’m sure, but I had to try.” For any of you who know me, I always liking getting input and feedback for those in the Community, whether it is at an in-person event, or through a Live Meeting, or on an Eval form, or whatever. So when Partners give it a try “just because” or “just in case” and give it just a little extra effort, it is great to see that.

As such, what I decided to do is, I am awarding (50) of the Microsoft Small Business Solutions Brochures to any Partner who submitted a qualifying entry through the Blog prior to 12:00 midnight PST last night (Thursday night/Friday morning). So thanks again to all of you who took the time to participate in this contest and sent in your entries. I hope the Microsoft Small Business Solutions Brochures come in handy and I’d love to hear back from you on how you used them and if they were helpful for you.

Thank you and have a wonderful day,
