Microsoft Office Professional Plus for 25¢* per day? That’s only $7.50* per month!

What if I told you that you could get Microsoft Office Professional Plus for just 25¢* per day, which equates to only $7.50* per month? image Note: I’m talking about Microsoft Office Professional Plus here, the version you get through Microsoft Volume Licensing, not just Office Professional, which is all you get through Retail Box or OEM. (See chart for the additional benefits of Office Professional Plus). Would this attract your attention?

Well, through the new Microsoft Open Value Subscription program that launches in March, 2008, this is a reality! That’s right. The 25¢* per day price is the first year ERP (Estimated Retail Price) of the Microsoft Office Professional Plus SKU with the Up-to-date discount. That means anyone with existing licenses of Microsoft Office Professional 2003 or 2007 (these existing licenses can be OEM, Retail Box, or Volume Licenses) would qualify for this price. What if you don’t have existing licenses of Microsoft Office Professional 2003 or 2007? You can still get Microsoft Office Professional Plus for only 49¢* per day!

Oh, and did I mention that not only do you get the rights to run Microsoft Office Professional Plus through this program, you also will receive: upgrade protection for all of your PCs (so if a new version of Office comes out, you automatically have rights to the new version upon release), Office Home Use Program (providing you with Microsoft Office licenses to use at home), an Employee purchase program (which allows employees of the company to purchase Microsoft items such as software, hardware, X-Box 360 games, Zunes, and more at a greatly reduced rate for personal use), and eLearning courses (electronic learning courses to learn how to use the software you are licensed for and the features included in the software). Depending on how many PCs you have in your company, you may even qualify for free training vouchers for in-person training courses and Information Work Value Discovery Workshops. Again, all for 25¢* per day if you have existing Office Professional 2003 or 2007 licenses or 49¢* per day if you don’t.

Another benefit of acquiring your Microsoft Office Professional Plus through the Open Value Subscription program is that it makes your licensing easy! (Yes, I did use Microsoft, licensing, and easy all in the same sentence) You simply place one order per year and you’re covered. It doesn’t matter if you add new PCs during the year at any point, it’s still just one order per year and you’re covered. Check out my “Install software on new PCs without paying for it? Yes, through the Open Value Subscription annual true-up process, you get this flexibility” post to see how this works.

In addition to all of this, you will also qualify for a Partner subsidy check through the “Big Easy” promotion when you acquire your Microsoft Office Professional Plus licenses through the Open Value Subscription Program. The amount you will be eligible for will be an amount per license acquired and the final amounts will be posted in March on the Big Easy website.

Thank you and have a wonderful day,
