Awhile back there were a few threads floating through the MSSMALLBIZ User Group regarding the differences between the OEM and Volume License rights for Office Pro. Some of these questions pertained to my, “OEM Office for Terminal Services? You might want to check that EULA...” post while some others applied to my, “Answer to a question on how Microsoft Office is licensed in a Terminal Services environment and why OEM Office doesn’t cover it, in plain English” post. One of the comments made during the thread was that while there are websites with charts that show the different programs included in Office, there was no document that Partners could use to quickly point out the license type differences (OEM, Retail, and Volume License) that they could use.
