Microsoft Small Business Specialist Exclusive rebate for Small Business Desktop Advantage sales extended through June 30, 2007!

Rebate extended!

I am very excited to let all of the Microsoft Small Business Specialists know that the Exclusive Small Business Desktop Advantage rebate for SBSC Partners has been extended through June 30th and will not be expiring at the end of this month. When we first launched this exclusive rebate (the first exclusive one for SBSCs!), we mentioned we were trying it as a pilot program to see how it worked for the SBSC Partners and if it would be helpful for you. If successful, we would look to extend it. Well, your results have spoken for themselves!

As a member of the Microsoft Small Business Specialist Community, now through June 30, 2007, you can get an additional rebate of up to 10% on each eligible Small Business Desktop Advantage license agreement you sell through Open Value licensing. This rebate is on top of the existing Open Value Rebate offer. Read about the benefits and find resources to help you get started on the SBSC Web site.

Don’t take my word for it about what the Small Business Desktop Advantage can do for your business and that of your clients. If you didn’t hear the SBSC podcast that we did with Vince Tinnirello of Anchor Network Solutions, Inc., you might want to hear his thoughts on how it has helped his SBSC firm. Also, we just finished recording another session with John Endter of E Squared C, an SBSC Partner based in Nevada, where he discussed what the Small Business Desktop Advantage and Microsoft Financing have done for his business. Keep an eye out for that link coming soon.

If you’re not an SBSC Partner yet or have been wondering, “Does being an SBSC really do anything for you?” You should probably listen to the SBSC podcast with Robb Patterson, president of the New York Small Business Server Group, on what being an SBSC has done for his company. Not to mention all of the benefits (including this exclusive rebate offer) that SBSC provides.

Remember that I also host the weekly Small Business Desktop Advantage Sales Forums every Thursday morning for those of you who want to learn more about the Microsoft Small Business Desktop Advantage, the rebate programs, and answers to some of the common questions we get about this solution. Plus, if you would like to learn more about the Open License and Open Value Licensing programs and how you as a Partner can take advantage of these, come join me on February 21st at 10:00 am PST for an “Introduction to Open License for Partners” webcast. I just did this session this past Tuesday morning and 100% of the attendees said they would recommend the session to others, so here’s your chance to join me for it.

UPDATE: As of October, 2008, platform options (such as the Small Business Desktop Advantage) are now handled through the “Build Your Own Platform” model. Here is the post that explains this new option for you.
