Microsoft Office Genuine Advantage now available

Many of you probably remember when we launched the Windows Genuine Advantage Program that allows customers to validate their installation of Microsoft Windows software to see if they own a genuine copy of Windows or if they have potentially been the victim of software counterfeiting/piracy. Now, we are proud to announce the availability of the Microsoft Office Genuine Advantage Program, which like its Windows counterpart, allows customers to validate their Microsoft Office software to see if it is in fact Genuine Microsoft Office software or potentially counterfeit. If in fact your installation of Microsoft Office does come back as not legitimate, Microsoft has several options to assist you and we still offer the option to “turn in” your illegitimate Microsoft Office software along with the documentation showing who you obtained it from so we can help reduce the number of people out there trying to take advantage of others by pawning off counterfeit software.

One of the top questions we get with validation is, “Will I be asked to provide personal information during validation?” The answer is, Microsoft values your privacy, and we do not collect any information, such as your name or email address, that can be used to identify you or contact you so you can validate your software with peace of mind.

What are some of the benefits of having Genuine Microsoft Office software? Here are just a few:

  • Reliability

You will have access to many product support resources and ongoing updates.

  • Additional value

You will have access to add-ins, templates, learning tools, Smart Tags and stationery that can help you get more value from Office.

  • Confidence and peace of mind

You will know that your software is authentic, is properly licensed, and the media does not include any unauthorized or potentially harmful programs.

So why not head over to the Microsoft Office Genuine Advantage Program site and take a look at what is available to you to help protect yourself from being a victim of counterfeit software.

Thank you and have a wonderful day,
