Dr. Egon Spengler: There's something very important I forgot to tell you.
Dr. Scott Evangelist Barnes: What?
Dr. Egon Spengler: Don't cross each brands technologies.
Dr. Scott Evangelist Barnes: Why?
Dr. Egon Spengler: It would be bad.
Dr. Scott Evangelist Barnes: I'm a little fuzzy on the whole "good/bad" thing here! What do you mean "bad"?
Dr. Egon Spengler: Try to imagine all life as you know it stopping instantaneously and every molecule in your body exploding at the speed of light.
Dr. Ray Stantz: Total protonic reversal!
Dr. Scott Evangelist Barnes: That's bad. Okay. All right, important safety tip, thanks Egon.
On March 22, 6pm AEST - I will be daring to do something that not many have done before. I will challenge the very fabric of Adobe's X-Platform belief and may very well perish in a instantaneous ball of heated light.
I will combine Microsoft Windows Vista SideBar, Flex 2.0.1 and Carbon Dioxide in a 3 minute WebJam-off.
Adobe will be there in full force, they may get scared and have put Ted Patrick as my counterpart to win over the crowd (he is bringing a rubber wet suite, so kids, it could get messy). That's ok, the room will be a tough one to win over as it will be deep Adobe country and so I expect to lose but behold my aftermath!
They say it can't be done, I say damn you man! It can!
This will be the day of reckoning, oh yes, be there or miss out on what could be a cross-brand religious moment.
(that or watch me completely screwup a perfectly good presentation and have a room full of Adobe Developers & Designers heckle me for it - ahhh kids can be so cruel).
If you're not at WebDU, you're just not cool.
