Be Part of the 12 hour Hackathon, Decode Dubai, brought to you by in5 On January 24, in5 will gather developers, coders, programmers and designers from all over the UAE for a 12 hour hackathon at Decode Dubai. The hackathon will be held from 8am – 8pm at the Address Marina hotel. In5 is an innovation center developed by Dubai Internet City (DIC), aiming to further develop the technology startup ecosystem in Dubai by fostering and promoting entrepreneurship and innovation. More about Decode Dubai: All developers and designers who register for Decode Dubai will receive the theme of the competition a day prior to the hackathon, on January 23. On the day of the competition, contestants will put their skills to the test as they carry out the competitions requirements. At the end of the day, 3 winners will be selected based on the innovation, aesthetics, and completeness of the product in line with the theme, in addition to how much market potential it has. The first place winner will be awarded AED 20,000; the second place winner will receive AED 10,000; while the third place winner will get AED 5,000.
