Star Wars is Coming to Kinect!

In anticipation of the Kinect Star Wars launch, Radio 1 is hosting a week long (April 1st-5th) competition for both its Breakfast Show and Simon B (afternoon) listeners. Kinect Star Wars is the ultimate in family entertainment as it brings together family members of all ages – games and Star Wars fans - to play together in an active, fun and intuitive platform.

What is the competition?

Listeners will be asked to listen out to the “Yodarized” song; a song in which one of the lyrics has been modified to sound like the character Yoda in Star Wars and to then SMS ‘Xbox’ to the given number as soon as they hear the song/lyric. One winner will be chosen every day from all the correct answers.

What do YOU win?

The competition will run on the Breakfast Show.  Every day one winner will receive a copy of the game as well as a takeaway dinner voucher, as well as Star Wars props for a night, so the whole family can spend the evening together as Jedi Knights fighting the Dark Side using the Force of Kinect for Xbox 360.

What is the competition?

The competition will take place on Simon B’s show between 4-7pm everyday, where the Breakfast team, dressed as Darth Vader and his Storm Troopers, will make their way to popular spots in Dubai and Abu Dhabi (malls, JBR, Corniche etc.).
