Imagine Cup 2012 UAE Country Finals – You’re Invited


You are invited to attend the Imagine Cup 2012 UAE Country Finals!

Register online today to see the top 5 teams in action on April 23 at Jumeirah Beach Hotel.

The Microsoft Imagine Cup is the world’s premier student technology competition. Students from around the world use their imagination and passion to create technology solutions that address the Imagine Cup 2012 theme: Imagine a world where technology helps solve the toughest problems.

Students in the UAE have stepped up to the challenge and created innovative solutions.  The top 5 teams have been selected to compete in the Imagine Cup UAE Country Finals.  They will present to an audience and a panel of judges.  The first place winning team for Software Design will advance to represent the UAE at the Worldwide Finals in July 2012 (Sydney, Australia).

Time: 10:30 am to 3:30 pm

Location: Jumeirah Beach Hotel – Meyana Auditorium

Teams will also be battling it out for a Mobile Development Award, supported by du.  The solution with the best use of mobile technology will receive this award.

We are very excited to announce the People’s Choice Award!  Attendees will be encouraged to vote by SMS and Twitter for their favorite team.  The team with the highest number of votes will win the prestigious title.
