Private Cloud Community Evaluation Program Launched

Do you want to build your own Private Cloud infrastructure from scratch? Want to shape the nature of business and IT conversations? Microsoft is launching a Private Cloud Community Evaluation Program (Private Cloud CEP).

This program will provide IT professionals a structured approach to creating a Private Cloud environment and a well-managed datacenter. Members of this community will evaluate the pre-release versions of Microsoft System Center 2012 with guidance from the product team and through sharing of experiences and best practices among a community of peers.

“System Center 2012 combined with Windows Server Hyper-V helps you deliver flexible and cost effective private cloud infrastructure to your business units in a self-service model, while carrying forward your existing datacenter investments. Recognizing that applications are where core business value resides, System Center 2012 offers performance based monitoring and deep application insight which combined with a “service centric” approach helps you deliver predictable application service levels. System Center 2012 also empowers you to deliver and consume private and public cloud computing on your terms with common management experiences across your environments.” Said Garth Fort, General Manager of the Management and Security Product Management Team.
