WebMatrix is a free download of the Web development stack that makes it easy to build websites either ground-up or using templates. If you’re writing classic ASP or open source web applications (including PHP), or whether you’re new to building websites, WebMatrix gives you a flexible array of tools to build websites quickly. The WebMatrix download size is small at about 15Mb, and takes about 5 minutes to install. WebMatrix also integrates the Web Application Gallery and Web Application Installer from Microsoft, enabling developers who use PHP, MySQL or other web development components.
