Why am I so excited about TechEd Middle East? Because this year’s event in Dubai will not only be full of incredible technical training sessions, but opportunities to really have fun while you learn! Yes, it’s true, it is possible to have some fun at a technical education event and here’s why…
This year’s TechEd Middle East features amazing speakers from around the world and learning sessions are nothing short of extraordinary! With over 250 learning opportunities, this is definitely the premier event for those of you looking to take your technical knowledge to a whole new level. With a wide-range of Breakout Sessions, Keynote speakers and Instructor-led Labs, you’ll have the opportunity to get the most relevant, in-depth training on the topics that matter event to you most.
With 19 Technical Tracks you’ll have sessions in areas such as Application Server & Infrastructure, Cloud Computing & Online Services, Developer Tools, Languages and Frameworks, as well as Virtualization and Unified Communications. Wow, with such a wide range of options, it’s hard to choose! Thankfully, you can depend on the availability of session decks on www.teched.ae after the event.
In addition to the regular session track, don’t forget to attend one of the Interactive Sessions that allow you to really interact with real-life situations such as “Real life Integration Choices” where you will look at integration scenarios that many enterprise companies are currently facing or “Deploying Windows Phone 7 with Microsoft Exchange Server 2010 and Microsoft SharePoint Server 2010” to learn how to integrate and deploy Windows Phone and create a powerful tool for personal productivity and collaboration.
One of my favorite parts of TechEd is the Expo where you can find the Partner Exhibition and Technical Learning Center (TLC). It’s always a great time because this is where people can truly engage with one another, compete to win cool new devices and really have some fun! See the latest products, services and cutting-edge innovations offered by Microsoft Partners. This is where you can connect 1:1 with Microsoft’s technical experts and ask those burning questions you’ve had on your mind for so long!
The TLC allows you to try Microsoft’s product demos, like XBOX Kinect and Windows Phone 7, while networking with other IT developers and professionals. You’ll have a chance to win an array of cool stuff like phones, cameras and gaming devices! Not to mention those free giveaways and tasty candies we all love (and take with us in large quantities to snack on later).
Here’s a sneak peak of some of the fun stuff that you’ll be able to do at TechEd Expo this year:
- Take photos with your friends in the Social Media Photo Booth and post on Facebook, Twitter and Flickr
