Visual C++ 2008 Feature Pack

Although the Visual C++ compiler has been improved in a areas including performance, security, and standards conformance, seemingly little has been done in the way of new library and productivity features for quite some time.

That has changed with the Visual C++ 2008.

In the May 2008 issue of MSDN Magazine, Kenny Kerr demonstrates the new features added to the Visual C++ 2008 Feature pack, including MFC classes for building modern user interfaces significant functionality being added to the Standard C++ Library.
