In the January 2007 issue of MSDN Magazine, Jeffrey Richter demonstrates how to write gadgets for Windows SideShow.  Of course, SideShow gadgets are only useful if there are SideShow devices for them to run with... check out some of the cool new SideShow devices announced this week at CES in this video on Channel 10.
