As you might have seen in a previous post, I am about to become a Technology Specialist, based in San Francisco, CA. So before I will get tons of questions to explain what a TS is and does I am writing this post.
The Microsoft MBS (Microsoft Business Solutions) group has an indirect sales model predicated on effective recruitment, development, management, and support of a highly productive partner channel. The Technology Specialist (TS) is a strategic, specialized sales role with deep product expertise intended to enable and support partner success in the technical pre-sales process as well as to provide technical pre-sales support in large and strategic opportunities with Partners or with EPG and MCS sales teams.
My job’s primary purposes are that of enabling partner technical sales capacity and quality as well as provide technical pre-sales support on large and strategic opportunities with direct Microsoft involvement.
