I agree with Rory.  It is so dehumanizing to be referred to as a "resource".  Here at Microsoft we don't use such a nasty word.  Instead we use the term "FTE".  Being called an FTE (Full Time Employee) is so much nicer.  For example:

We're going to ship that resource off to India for 1/10th the cost.

is so cold.

We're going to ship that FTE off to India for 1/10th the cost.

Now that gives me that same warm glow I get when I see the before and after shots on Trading Spaces. :-)
