MSDN Radio–9/13–UX for Windows Phone 7 Development with David Kelley

So you are writing a lot of Windows Phone apps and you are often confused about what the user experience should be? I get a lot of questions about the new ‘Metro’ UI that we have for Windows Phone and I thought it’d be great to do a MSDN Radio show to cover the same.

David Kelley is a Silverlight MVP and works at Wirestone as a Principal UX Architect. I’ve known David for a while now and he’s probably the best person to talk about UX. Wirestone has built wall sized (touch enabled) demo systems to phone applications so they have a very good idea about what it takes to make the application a immersive experience for the user to use it and love it!

Come join us this coming Monday morning as we have a fun show and talk about User Experience. Oh yeah, come armed with questions Smile

Event overview:

Join us as we talk with David Kelley about building emotional connections with users, user experience (UX) workflow, and the UX on Windows Phone 7. We'll discuss the UX on large screens such as the Nike touch wall at the World Basketball Festival and work our way down to small screens on Windows Phone 7. We'll cover the differences and similarities, how you can build a better user interface (UI), and how to leverage XAML and Microsoft Silverlight to deliver the same skill set to just about any screen.
