MSDN TOC issues

Windows SDK for Windows Server 2008

The Windows SDK for Windows Server 2008 is now available for download. This release contains several new samples for Media Foundation plus one new DirectShow sample. New Media Foundation samples: ASF Parser EVR Presenter MFPlayer Audio MFT MPEG-1 Source New DirectShow sample: EVR Player These new samples all require Windows Vista or later to run.


GraphEdit and Windows SDK for Windows Server 2008 RC0

If you install RC0 of Windows SDK for Windows Server 2008, you may notice that GraphEdit.exe is missing. This is a known issue that wasn’t corrected in time for RC0. DirectShow in the Windows SDK for Vista

The Windows SDK for Vista fixes some of the issues with the DirectShow samples that I’ve posted about previously. In particular, the samples were updated for Visual Studio 2005, and now include Visual Studio project files instead of makefiles.
