Naked Conversations

Nope, this post isn't about new styles of communication with your co-workers!

This post is kinda of topic but I thought this book was an interesting read. I have had plenty of time to catch-up on my reading from all of the speaking engagements I have been doing over the past few months.

So one of the authors is a MS guy who is one of our master bloggers/podcaster, Robert Scoble. I really didn't get much value out of the book as far as learning's on blogging itself, but it did provide so great blogging stories and statistics. They did a great job of articulating the value proposition of why you should blog.

I am now handing the book off to my wife whom is starting her own business in graphic design. She had always asked why I blogged and I really never had the data points to give her. Rob and Shel has made my life a little bit easier.

I don't want to give the impression that there wasn't any "how-to blog" type of guidance. The last few chapters  provide novices some good pointers.

Overall, the book was very well written and was entertaining. if you are interested in the evolution of blogging and the impact that it has had it would be a good read for you. If you have been blogging for sometime and understand the value, then it will not provide much for you except some great data points.
