BizTalk Comparative Performance Study

I have been asked about BizTalk performance and scalability for the last few weeks while I have been here in AZ and NZ. I found the BizTalk Server 2006 Comparative Adapter Study that was preformed to compare the performance between BizTalk 2004 and 2006. It's a brief overview of performance of BizTalk 2004 adapters vs. BizTalk 2006 adapters.

Highlighted here are the FILE adapter, MSMQ adapter, FTP, SMTP, HTTP, SOAP, MQSeries and more. Some very nice improvements in HTTP and SMTP processing, specifically.

It is important to note two things. One this doesn't take into account stress testing. The study here was performed as a load test. And second, this isn't BizTalk R2 (the latest version of BizTalk).
