Unless there’s a good reason not to do so, you probably want to have your app available in as many Marketplace markets as possible. In particular, now we’ve added 19 new consumer markets, taking us from 16 to 35 markets where your application can appear, you’ll probably want to make sure your app appears in all of them.
This may take a bit of work on your part.
If you published your app with the “Worldwide Distribution” option selected, that option is not automatically propagated to include new markets.
Similarly, if you limited the distribution of your app to specific markets for language or other reasons, you may find new markets have been added that you would like to target. It’s well worth reviewing the full list of new markets just in case:
- Czech Republic
- South Africa
- South Korea
- Go to your Windows Phone dashboard in App Hub
- Select the relevant app
- Follow the “Edit catalog details” link
- Move to the next page (“price”)
- Add any markets in which you want your app to appear
At the same time you may also want to check you’re happy with the app price point in the different markets. If you’re not happy with the price you can either publish the app separately in that market (giving you control over the price) or remove the app from sale in that specific market.
