Mix a Cocktail with Windows Phone 7

I attended a meeting of the Scot Alt.Net group in our Edinburgh offices last night. Gergely did a session on Windows Phone 7 which was crammed to the gunwales with useful information, tips, tricks and his experience of developing for WP7 over the last few months.

I just loved the look of the Cocktail Flow application he’s been building. You can read more about it on his blog here. The use of striking imagery, contrasting colours and subtle effects produces a really beautiful UI. I can’t wait to see it in the MarketPlace.
