NxtGenUG Fest10 – Friday July 16th in Bournemouth

NxtGenUG are holding their annual “Fest” in sunny Bournemouth this year. On July 16th as it happens. From 9-6.

[I once had a hotel room in Bournemouth with its own sauna but that’s not important right now. It wasn’t a flashy room. I was in the civil service at the time. We didn’t do flashy (unlike nowadays I suspect). It just had a sauna in it for some reason.]

Here’s the current agenda to give you a flavor of the day – I notice even ex-evangelist Marcus Perryman has resurfaced for the event. I wonder how they even managed to make contact with him?

09:30 – 09:45 Richard Costall, John Price, John McLoughlin, Richie Allen Welcome and Keynote

09:45 – 10:45 Glenn Block MEF

10:55 – 11:55 Marcus Perryman Developing for Windows Phone 7

12:00 – 13:00 Jon Skeet Abusing C# for fun (but probably not profit)

13:40 – 14:40 Chris Hay The Cloud, featuring Windows Azure

14:50 – 15:50 Ryan Simpson F#, in the tone of C#

16:00 – 17:00 Mike Taulty OData – What, When, Why and How?
