Cloud Computing and Windows Azure

A few weeks ago I went along to the inaugural UK Azure Net Usergroup meeting and with the help of Simon Davies (all round Azure expert) collared a few people to get their views on cloud computing and Windows Azure.

I’d like to apologise in advance for my intro which I’m aware is terribly cheesey. You try it is all I’d say. It’s not easy you know. People get paid millions to do this on the telly. If I was any good at it I’d be doing “Total Wipeout” or “Animals do the Funniest Things” (I’d have to draw the line at “The One Show” though).

Richard and Richard (in the video) work for AWS who built the RNLI MoB Guardian proof of concept, a safety system for UK inshore fisherman built on Windows Azure.
